TP: Treasure Seeker -- 7 - Secret Intentions
In the galley, the crew mumbled amongst themselves. Only the gated window above them gave some light into the dark room, and the whispered tones of the workers created a thick, unsettling atmosphere. They all ceased their conversations when the heard heavy footsteps coming down the stairs. In came Silver.
"So," he said, "We're all here."
A few of the crew settled themselves more comfortably in there positions before listening,
"Fine. Now," he continued with subtly, walking slowly through the galley "If ya pardon my plain speaking gentlemen, are ya all " he paused for an instant to change his mechanic hand into a sharp blade, "Stark ravin', totally blinkin' daft!" he swung his sword around yelling as he did so. The crew ducked and dodged his swings; clearly he was in visible rage.
"After all me connivin' gettin' us hired as an upstandin' crew," he leered at the group and walked straight to Scroop, "You want to blow the whole mutiny before it's time?"
"The boy was sniffing about," S

Sitting at a table, Hannah held out her bruised arm so Silver could mend it. It was a nasty bruise, larger than her hand, but no blood was drawn. She rolled up her sleeve and saw her wound, but it didn't shock her, she had been in worse situations.
"How're ya feelin', lass?" Silver asked, as he looked through some drawers in the room.
"I'm doing just fine," she assured him. But in her head, she obviously didn't feel fine. Her arm was throbbing with pain and her throat hurt when she spoke, but she didn't want to reveal her weakness.
"Yer a tough little one aren't ya? I've never seen a lass like you who could take a hit like that and tink nothin' of it," he commented as he pulled a ribbon of cloth and some medicine from a cabinet.
"I try," is all she said. Her usual smiled faded and she looked at the table. She rested her head on her hand, still trying to get enough oxygen back in her system. Silver walked to the table seeing her, raised his brow and said,
"Don't worry, it won't hurt as

Jim slapped his mop on the deck, irritated about the boring assignment they had.
"Yeah I got your 'Mr. Mop'," Jim mumbled to himself. The atmosphere around the ship was bleaker than when they first took off. A mist settled around them, and was cooler than the warm air back at Montressor Spaceport. Hannah swabbed the deck with him, equally uninterested in the task. But she had to brighten up the mood somehow, even in the dreary mist.
"Well, it's not that bad," she grinned, "At least we're on this boat. It may not be the greatest, thrilling journey we were thinking about. But, when we finally land at our destination, we'll get our fair share."
Jim pondered on what she said, and lifted his spirits enough to ask a few questions. It was in his mind ever since he left the galley, so he brought it up cautiously, "So, you already know Silver?"
"Yeah, we met at the Spaceport about " she paused, looked up and thought, "three or four days ago probably."
"Did he talk to you first or the

Hannah wiped her brow once she put the last of the supply packages in the storage cell. She dusted off her hands and made her way on deck, where everything was finally prepared for the long journey. In her mind, she couldn't quite get a hold of the possibility of finding treasure. Not just a treasure, but the treasure. The very loot that she heard about when she was so young. But that wasn't the only thing she was excited about. Finally being apart of something made her stamina rise, she was never apart of a team like this. Plus the thought of being forever in legend as being apart of the crew who found Flint's Trove- that could give anyone a pep in their step. It's time to leave the past behind, she thought, and time to show everyone that even I have a future.
"All hands to stations!" Mr. Arrow bellowed to the crew.
Then every person on deck went in all directions. Up the masts, climbing the rat's nest, pulling rope, yelling at each other, it was the sound of excitement

"That woman, that feline!" Doctor Doppler ranted. He, Jim and Hannah were tramping down the steps that lead to the galley with Mr. Arrow behind them, "Who does she think is working for whom?"
"It's my map," Jim put in, "And she's got me busting tables."
"And I was hired as a part of this crew! Now all I'm gonna do is serve soup?"
Hannah exclaimed when Mr. Arrow seemed to have heard enough of the subject.
"I'll not tolerate a crossword about our captain," he demanded as he gripped their shoulders. He was definitely strong- in appearance and in his voice too. But he was a loyal companion, no doubt about that, "There's no finer officer in this or any galaxy."
Embarrassed about the ranting, they rubbed the backs of their necks. Before anything else was said, they heard whistling in the back of the room. Jim couldn't see the person clearly because of the steam coming from a stove in the center of the kitchen.
"Mr. Silver," said Arrow addressing the stranger.
"Why, Mr. Arrow sir!" said

Jim, Hannah, Doctor Doppler and Mr. Arrow entered the room when Captain Amelia came in last and locked the door behind her.
"Doctor," she began. She had a deep, British accent and spoke in the most proper way and language. Slowly she spoke so Doctor Doppler would understand, "To muse and blabber about a treasure map in front of this particular crew, demonstrates a level of ineptitude that borders on the imbecilic. And I mean that in a very caring way," She added.
Hannah smiled, holding back a laugh. She and Jim were standing behind the Doc, but both could plainly tell he didn't approve of this statement.
"Imbecilic, did you say? Foolishness I've "
"May I see the map, please?" the Captain asked, cutting him short.
Doctor Doppler looked as though he was about to say more but looked over at Jim. Hannah did the same, but all he did was shrug in response as he shook his head. Reluctantly, the Doc motioned for Jim to give her the map, then gave her a stern look. Jim sighed an

On the deck of the Legacy, the crew was preparing for launch in a couple hours. Supplies were being brought on deck by cranes, and crew members bustled about checking the sails, going from portside to starboard making sure everything was in order for the long trip. One of them in particular was on the main mast, tugging on a rope that secured the main topsail. She seemed focused on her work when she heard new voices. She looked down and saw a boy coming on deck.
"How cool is this?" she heard him say. He looked excited, even from so far up. But before anything else happened, the boy walked right into Mr. Snuff, a fat, wrinkly creature. She knew his temper, and stared at the scene wondering what the sluggish form would do to the boy. Snuff taunted him first, with those obnoxious farting noises he made, messing his hair in the process. She gave a small snort, trying to hold back a laugh. Then another stranger came on the scene.
